BATTLE OF HANOVER JUNE 20, 1863 BETWEEN BRIG. GEN. JUDSON KILPARTICK’S 3RD CAVALRY DIVSION ARMY OF THE POTOMAC AND MAJOR GEN. J.E.B. STUART’S CAVALRY DIVISION ARMY OF NORTHERN VIRGINIA. THE SOLDIER ON THE HORSE IS KNOWN AS THE “PICKET”.
