Wars Commemorated: WORLD WAR I AND WORLD WAR II
Photograph By: ROBERT CHARTUK
Submitted By: ROBERT CHARTUK
Comments: My father, Michael Chartuk, my uncle, John Chartuck (that's how he spelled it), and my aunt, Lillian Chartuk Noto, are honored on the monument for their service in World War II. I live next door to it. The Center Moriches School District takes good care of the grounds around it.
This is a bronze plaque set in stone, granite I believe.
