Comments: This monument is situated on a beautifully landscaped traffic island at the Peoria Municipal Complax, giving it maximum visibility as you enter or exit the property. In 1994, VFW Post 2135 established this space as a fitting tribute to all citizens of Peoria who have served in the Armed Forces. The monument includes an inscribed granite stone and three flagpoles.
