MEMORIAL PARK BEGAN WITH A TREE PLANTING IN 1921 TO HONOR WORLD WAR I VETERANS FROM MIDDLEBURY. IN THE LATE 1940S THE WORLD WAR II ROLL OF HONOR AND THE ARTILLERY GUNS WERE ADDED TO THE PARK
