NEWTON H. HALL-Capture of flag, believed to have belonged to Stewart’s Corps (C.S.A.)
ORION P. HOWE-A drummer boy, 14 years of age, and severely wounded and exposed to a heavy fire from the enemy, he persistently remained upon the field of battle until he had reported to Gen. W. T. Sherman the necessity of supplying cartridges for the use of troops under command of Colonel Malmborg.
JOHN H. RICKSECKER-On November 30, 1864, Ricksecker captured the flag of the 16th Alabama Artillery of the Confederate Army. For this action, he received the Medal of Honor on 3 February 1865.
