ANDREWS RAID WAS INTENT ON WRECKING CONFEDERATE SUPPLY LINES. THE RAIDERS CAPTURED A LOCOMOTIVE “THE GENERAL” IN AN ATTEMPT TO ESCAPE BUT RAN OUR OF FUEL AND THE RAIDERS ABOARD WERE CAPTURED.
